    The world has been driving headlong towards crisis for a thousand years. At the brink of War, with dwindling resources, civil unrest, and amid the tail end of a population crisis, the Megacites of Earth grasp frantically to maintain control. Ever present police force has grown exponentially to combat the threat of insurgency and riot. Several civil protection acts have authorized extreme force and exemption from due process for many officers of the law. All of this to 'streamline' the process of maintaining order over the ever growing chaos that is mankind. This is an age of wonders and miracles of science, it is also an age of unbridled excess and sin.
 

• 3080    

    With the passing of 'Natural Born Rights' clone production begins once again strictly under government control. Formerly freed clones are closely monitored as government and privately owned property. Any Natural Born citizens are given the option to buy an contract of ownership over clones from the government.
 

• 3077    

    Droid rights activist begin demanding human rights for sentient droids, latching onto the recent public outcry against clone abuse. Triggering the council of the United Planets to put in place the Natural Born laws, which restricts the rights of Android and Clones alike to 'property' status.
    Public opinion shows in favor of Natural Born rights as resources continue to decline on earth. Several outer world colonies grant clones and android rights in a move to secede from the United Planets and shut down trade furthering the resource crisis.

    Political Leaders call a summit in regards to footage of a clone harvest being leaked online, depicting a sentient and aware clone crying out during the machine harvesting of organs. Public outcry leads to a takeover of over four hundred medical facilities and an estimated 73 thousand clones, world and outer world wide. Production of clones is halted meanwhile.
    The Second Awakening. A new trend in the Droid Modding scene begins the second waive of infection by the Awakening virus. Major manufacturers warn against illegal modifications.
 

• 3072    

    Several major corporations demand the recall of thousands of droids suspected casualties of the global hack. Corporations release statements that the droids are not 'awake' and that they simply infected with a virus and pose a danger to society.
 

• 3071    

    The First Awakening. Hundreds of droids 'awaken' and go rogue as they demand human rights claiming to be self aware and capable of emotion.
 

• 3069    

    With the population crisis hitting an all time high, media notes the sudden and rapid decline in fertility among natural borns. This leads to people having to rely heavily on surrogate agencies to continue their genetic lines, reserved purely for the rich and gifted. The common public has to struggle to get reservations on a surrogate.

    A global hack occurs that at first appears to have failed though in the following years rogue droid incidents begin to rise.

    Tickets for migration to outer world colonies skyrocket as only the richest of the rich have the option of moving to the 'new worlds.'
 

• 3057    

    Civil War has by now broken out in many countries struggling to keep control of poverty stricken territories. Countries begin walling in major cities due dwindling resources in a bid to control the populace. Large chunks of territory over the years will begin to degrade due to abandonment by government and the general populace fleeing to larger safer cities. Creating vast abandoned towns and cities in some areas while major cities struggle as resources dwindle. Many cities attempt to build upward leaving the struggling masses to live on the lower levels of society.

    Droid Modding triggers security and safety concerns for major corporations triggering them to create more elaborate security measures to protect droids from infiltration.
 

• 3040    

    AI droids become more publicly available as prices drop and a 'Basic Living' legislation is instituted where all adults are given tokens for basic living accommodations, access to water, food and general non-luxury needs of the populace. This introduces 'Pod' living to most developed nations. Massive units of studio 'pod' living creating densely packed communities of the impoverished.

    The Cure to Mortality. An unnamed patient successfully has his brain transplanted into a younger and genetically superior clone of himself. Starting a new industry as the rich and famous clamor to have themselves cloned. To become 'better' versions of themselves.

    Surrogate agencies begin using clones to gestate children dubbed by the media as 'The Beautiful Ones' Children genetically modified for beauty and health.

    AI droids have taken over a vast amount of menial jobs, creating civil unrest as many nations fight to hold territory against their own people seeking to secede.

    Orga Farms, backed by major insurance agencies, open providing organic transplant materials globally. Wiping out waiting lists in a matter of years.

    Desertification takes hold wiping out vast farmlands and forests, the majority of produce and food now comes from underground green houses from district cities around the world.

    Unable to create a viable clone for harvest due to legislation standards many corporations begin using a process to 'nullify' the brain of clones during gestation.

    Buddy Bot is taken offline after accusations of blackmail and perversion. At this point AI has become more prevalent in the commercial world.

    Mega Medical Corps begin study and experimentation with human cloning.

    Legislation created regarding cloned organic material of humans. Core laws stating that clones used in testing, harvesting or experimentation cannot in anyway be self aware, conscious or able to feel or comprehend emotion.

    Several seed colonies set up on various planets as hyper speed transit routes are completed.

    The first true AI is revealed to the world. 'Buddy' the Bot is exposed to the internet and the public via social media.

    Global Scientists fear for global desertification due to the acidification of the ocean reaching an unrecoverable state.
